A limited run of HUMMER H3 and H3T models will begin this coming Monday at
GM’s plant in Shreveport, Louisiana according to those familiar with the
matter. Following the limited run, regular production will resume on November
9th.
Originally, dealers were told that production wouldn’t begin until
November, and even though this only puts everyone a week ahead of schedule,
dealers will be excited about having new inventory earlier than expected.
The Shreveport plant is also gearing up for global production, which
depending on the destination country, could start soon. Building for
left-hand-drive nations will only take some minor adjustments to the current
equipment, but building right-hand-drive HUMMERs will take a more time and
more equipment.
Currently, the plant equipment used to make these models in South Africa is
being dismantled and shipped to Shreveport. Originally, the Shreveport plant
only produced models bound for North America, but will now build H3s for all
the 39 countries that have HUMMER distribution.
Moving global production to Shreveport is good news for the plant workers,
who also make the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon – production of which has been
somewhat sporadic due to the Cash for Clunkers program.
A innocent Donut gone wrong :-) Good thing it was not an H2 or it may
of stayed "FLIPPED"

2009 HUMMER H3T and H3 SUV Off-Road in Moab - Video!
Earlier this month the HUMMER H3T in production form made
its off-road debut in Moab. The team from Igotshotgun.com was along to capture
some first impressions. Mike Levine of pickuptruck.com reviews some of the
highlights from the trip. Enjoy!
These Pictures of from a Military friend of mine and
a who was involved in a I.E.D Explosion while he was in the back seat of
his HUMVEE in Afghanistan.
One of the Soldiers was ejected from the Gun Turret
and landed on a hill many yards away. The Drive had broken legs and
everyone else was bruised up pretty good, but all in all they were ok.
Take a look at the Destruction the BOMB caused and he
and his crew are still here to live another day. Thanks HUMMER :-)

Whispering Pines Hideaway
This was a great event even know "Sniper" was
stuck in the mud for 4 hours :-)
Rick Harter, Carl Fantuazzo, Virgil Rotella and Peter Colombo did
the torsion bar turn. It was VERY easy and took about 20 minutes each Rig.
This TB turn allowed us to make way for the 315/75 R 16 35'S that are
going on this Friday.
BTW: Torsion Bar Instructions below.
The front bar adjustments are located roughly under the divider between
the front and rear doors--it is a bolt that is 1 1/16th inch. Measure from
ground to bottom of fender BEFORE turning, then jack it up, turn CLOCKWISE
the number of turns you want, then set down--remeasure.
***NOTE*** YOU MUST THEN GET IT ALIGNED.
